How to make baby car sound effects panel

Why?

My daughter, Eva (about 1 year old at the time of filming) absolutely loves pressing buttons. Be it remote controls, sound buttons in her baby books, or anything that makes a sound; she loves it!

One day we went to the toy shop and I saw this awesome pink car. She loved it, so I had to have it. But it got me thinking; what if I could incorporate one of her favourite things; buttons which make sounds!?!

Well, that led me to make this...! :)

Things you'll need to make this....

Ada Fruit Sound Effects Board

• They make a few versions of this.
• I think the below one is the cheapest, but limited to 2mb memory.
• They also do a 16mb version

Buttons

• ebay is honestly the best place for these, or a local electronics place if you have one
• Just search for "momentary switches" and get something like in the video

Box

• The box is what is called a "project box" or "electronics box"
• Again, ebay usually the best place or a local electronics place (RIP Maplins)

Spray paint

• I used Hycote Pink spray paint to spray paint the box
• I had to use loads of coats, so you might benefit from using a plastic primer

Battery pack

• The battery pack has 3x AAA batteries
• You can get these from usual places; ebay, pimoroni, thepihut.com, a local electronics shop, places like that
